Who am I? What do I do? What gets me up in the morning? What are my likes, dislikes, and current obsessions? All good questions...
By trade, I'm a graphic designer who somehow managed to successfully thwart my parents' tactical plan of having me pursue a career in law. Not that there's anything wrong with enforcing laws that govern our great country, but I was always more interested in the kind of rules and regulations that pertain to visual standards that governs one's brand identity.
Currently, I’m a Lead Designer at Metro (Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Company). I specialize in Environmental Graphic Design (Signage & Wayfinding) for Metro's vast bus & rail system which includes both customer environments such as stations, bus stops, transit and customer centers as well as private, warehouse facilities. Before that, I worked very closely with Metro's Marketing department developing print and digital material for a variety of Metro campaigns and initiatives including line openings, bike events and public art tours.
Before Metro, I was designing promotional collateral for Kawasaki Motorsports at a boutique advertising company as well as designing events and print collateral for a non-profit agency.
My other calling is being a mom to two amazing daughters, two gleeful Tibetan Terriers and wifey to a screenwriter.
